OVERVIEW OF EASISTAT

EASISTAT runs from the Windows MS-DOS Prompt or Command prompt. From within this enter the command EASISTAT to run the program. If EASISTAT.EXE is not in the current working directory and is not in one of the directories specified by the PATH environment variable then you must provide the full path for the location of the program file, e.g. \MYPROGS\BIN\EASISTAT. Similar considerations apply if you are running a recompiled version of the program on other platforms.

Note that while program and file names are generally given in upper case in this manual, on other operating systems filenames are case-sensitive and so you may need to enter them in lower case as appropriate. Within the program itself, commands are case-insensitive although filenames will be case-sensitive if the operating system is.
